Product Guarantees & Returns

We stand behind the technical specifications of our products and the quality of their manufacture; defective goods will be replaced if returned promptly or fully credited if replacements are unavailable.

However, our market is first and foremost science education & because of its nature, scientific results cannot be guaranteed; we cannot take products back due to poor experimental design.

Call or e-mail first if you have product questions. If we have our doubts about your design & feel our products won't suit your needs, we will tell you. It is cheaper for both of us to not buy something then have you return it!

Goods may NOT be returned w/o authorization.

A restocking charge of 20% or $10.00 whichever is greater; shipping not included. Goods that are opened will be evaluated for their resale value and may be assessed a 50% restocking charge.

Some goods may be returned for exchange, e.g. magnifiers, at no penalty except for additional shipping charges. Other items such as molecular models will be accepted if returned promptly and unopened.

If a technical specification or description is wrong or ambiguous such that it could detract from the success of the experiment, we will gladly refund ALL your costs.

Glassware cannot be returned for any reason; this is for your safety and ours. It would be prohibitively expensive to test for bacteriological, chemical or radiological agents since there is no way to tell if glass has been contaminated just by looking at it. We would have to throw it away even if you claim to never have opened the package.
