Neodymium Rare Earth Cube Magnets
Build Halbach Arrays
Neodymium rare earth cube magnets are combined produce unusual magnetic assemblies. One of the
most popular is the Halbach array which can use any size cube but the 5 & 10mm are the most popular: the 10mm cube has a theoretical
holding force of nearly 1000 times its own weight!
Each has an axis of magnetization but they are not indicated; a compass or magnaprobe is needed identify the N-S poles.
See: Cube Magnet Tech. Specs. for holding force & field strength specifications.
