Indigo® Instruments has been run by its current owners
since 1990 and our website dates back to October 1994. ("Whois" says 1997 because it has no record of our original host "Internic.net".
Yes, the original granter of domain names was our first webhost!)
Our customers include Bell Labs, Google, Microsoft, IBM, NIST, NIH, USAF, US Army, Disney, Intel, Princeton, Harvard, MIT, McGill, Westinghouse,
Target, Seagate, Martha Stewart Living, Cornell, U. California, Yale, Harvard, U. of Toronto & hundreds more. All our technical people have at
least one science degree.
We're listed with the Mid-Western Ontario Better Business Bureau, click on "Company Reports" & enter
"Pinetree Instruments Inc." (our parent company).
We are in Waterloo, Ontario; ~100km (1 hour) west of Toronto. Type in our postal code "N2J 4R9" either into Google Maps or Mapquest or
if you have a map, look for Kitchener. Waterloo is the smaller of our twin cities & doesn't always make it to every map even though we
have the world famous University of Waterloo & RIM (maker of the Blackberry).

- Your telephone number is only used: to confirm who you are; given to FedEx for delivery purposes; used to call you if there is a problem with your order that needs solving immediately
(e.g. you requested next day delivery but your address is not recognized by FedEx).
- Your e-mail address is only used: to send you an order confirmation; a tracking number if you chose FedEx;
contact you if there is a problem with your order; send instructions for DNA model assembly; if you wish to pay by check
or money order or get a quote.

We are available to answer questions or take orders from 9-4:30
EST, M-F. All e-mails are answered within 2 hours of receiving them during office hours. Web orders are accepted 24 hours a day.
No Printed Catalog
There is NO printed catalog. Product offerings
constantly change which would make the catalog obsolete just about every other week.
Purchase orders from Canadian and American university
(some colleges), federal, provincial and state departments and public institutions (such as museums) are accepted from Canada
& USA only. Purchase order requirements are as follows:
- $100 minimum not including freight or taxes
- Fax to 519-747-5636, send as file attachment or mail to the Waterloo address
- Include complete billing and shipping address information
- Include the name and telephone of accounts payable person
- US purchase orders over $200 must include a Fed Tax ID #
For all others prepayment by credit card or check is required.
